This site is for reviews of notebook computers.
The term notebook is not used by all PC manufacturers but it was first used to describe the new breed of laptops that were far more portable than previous generations. Now we have netbooks which are cheaper, ultra portable and have fantastic battery life compared to traditional laptop computers.
We are independent from any PC manufacturer or retailer and as such have no bias in our reviews or the presentation of the reviews left by computer buyers. We link to Amazon at the bottom of each review because they are often the cheapest retailer and have good product information.
